On the 12th of October, M. Venkaiah Naidu, the Vice President of India, tested negative for the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19.
The news of Mr. Naidu’s COVID-19 results was confirmed by the Vice President’s Office.
The Vice President Secretariat in a statement said, “As per today”s RT-PCR test conducted by AIIMS, both the vice president and his wife Usha Naidu have tested negative for COVID-19.”
The Vice President of India, M. Venkaiah Naidu tested positive for the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19.
According to sources, Mr. Naidu was asymptomatic and was tested during a routine checkup.
